Source-bound resolver

Review every duty layer instead of hiding uncertainty

This tool separates known amounts, missing inputs, caller scenario assumptions, and policy layers that still need evidence. A modeled total appears only when the scenario is complete; a source-backed final total appears only when every decisive layer has trusted evidence.

Source-bound duty stack resolver

Every selection starts as a scenario assumption. The result separates a computable modeled total from a source-backed final total, and never turns unknown layers into zero.

Use 2026-08-20 for an ordinary date. Legal cutover dates require an instant such as 2026-07-24T12:00:00-04:00.

Policy-layer scenario assumptions
A “not applicable” selection is a caller scenario assumption. It does not become a source-backed final finding without official evidence or broker confirmation.

Current coverage boundary

  • Supports Free, simple ad-valorem, common USD-specific, and simple compound duty fields; unit duties explicitly request weight or quantity.
  • The forced-labor Section 301 engine covers all 60 economy tiers plus the EU, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, and Switzerland net-of-MFN caps.
  • Annex product-scope data remains under page-level review; no match is never interpreted as “not exempt.”
  • AD/CVD written scope, the separate Section 232 rate, legacy China Section 301, and final customs valuation still require official-source or broker review.
